This Regulator is designed to work with any belt driven fuel pump and is calibrated for use with a carburetor. It can be adjusted to work with either gas or methanol by simply turning the adjuster in or out. The regulator is preset to 10 PSI at 7,000 engine RPM using a 0 Fuel Pump or a .500' wide gear fuel pump. The regulator setting should be sufficient to use as a starting point. Minor adjustments can be made after observing fuel pressure at wide open throttle at the end of the straight away or at the end of the finish line. The regulator can be set as 5 PSI or as high as 12 PSI. A fitting is included to install this regulator into a 3/8 female pipe thread which is commonly used in most fuel logs.
